Endurance is the shield icon in the Garage. It does two jobs. It helps control the rev, so starts stay more reliable. It also makes Durability last longer, so you get more races in before the car needs a Wrench.
More Endurance means more races between repairs. See What the Car Stats Do and What Is Durability?.
High Power with low Endurance is the combination that wears the car down. A perfect launch and clean shifts already reduce damage. Late or missed shifts add damage. Wrenches put Durability back, and a rarer car needs more of them for the same repair. See What Are Wrenches For?.
How to add Endurance
- Tap the garage icon at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap Parts.
- Tap and hold a part, then drag it onto the part already on the car. As you drag it up, the bars show the difference. If Power is high and Endurance is low, look for a part that brings Endurance up before you add more Power.
- Drop it to equip it, or drag it back if you do not want it.
- Run the race, then check Durability in the Garage. If it is falling every pass, the build is spending the car faster than the repairs can keep up.
- Repair with a Wrench when Durability is down, or when the car is too damaged to race.
The other two build choices are Power and Torque and Handling.
